Now we know why some of these clowns come on here and moan that they are not getting any contracts despite looking for months.
West london is enough for me usually, I don't need to know the specifics of nearest tub station.Vote Corbyn ! Save this country !Comment

If the agent isn't willing to send me complete directions and a satellite map of the site they can take a hike. What am I paying them for anyway?Comment

I'm really struggling to see the issue here tbh. Recruiter has 12 candidates and can only put 3 or so in so he's got to go on some criteria to sort them. The contractor has given him the perfect chance to apply that criteria and he's cut it short so as not to waste anyone's time. The question does show a less than desireable approach to the gig than other then so be it... and that response from the contractor is utter tulipe.... Contractor sounds like a typical clockwatching bum on seat twunt in just two sentences.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!

you have two roles advertised, you can do & like the look of both of them but one is in Amersham and one is in 'west london' both have similar pay. Which one do you go for? The one in West london turns out to be South Acton and the one in Amersham is East of Amersham 5 miles away yet if it were in Harrow you could do it by tube easily. which one do you go for?
This gibberish that employees should live to work is going to far when you expect people to get up at 4am to get to work.Comment

Right, but at what point do you make that level of granularity an issue? If I get approached about a job that says "Glasgow" knowing it could easily be someplace involving an unpleasant car commute, I wouldn't get too concerned about that in the initial phone contact. Maybe I'm just too desperate...Originally posted by vetran View PostOK pop pickers
