I would go so far as to say the ‘thickos support Brexit’ is false. What they mean is lower income groups who are in the frontline of vast cultural and economic shifts in the UK and find themselves high-and-dry.Comment

If being part of the EU is so great then make a positive case.

Everything isn't the fault of immigrants!Comment

We could of course take the money we pay the EU and spend it on something else.Comment

On the other hand middle-class left leaning Guardian reading bores love to prattle on about how lovely their Polish gardener is. And how cheap! But of course the Polish and Romanian staff cannot afford to live anywhere near by.Comment

Deporting all non-citizens and blocking immigration will not magically solve any of these things.Comment

I'm not daft enough to think that that it's all the fault of immigrants, but adding such vast numbers of people into the UK isn't possible and there are obvious signs all about us. The NHS continues have vast sums poured into it. The building of houses and schools just can't keep up. Meanwhile the standard of living of current residents continues to slip. You are now suggesting the regulation of the housing market by changing the rules of who can buy a house. How would that work? Billionaire Russians can't buy houses? Oh, and you're wrong on the voting front.Comment
