Migrant crisis: EU at grave risk, warns France PM Valls - BBC News

Can't we just send them all home? Start with the French.

Confiscate all their property. Should reduce government debt a bit....

Why not execute them in the UK and save him a job?

The latest "In" propaganda pamphlet delivered through the Troll letterbox (under the bridge) says an out vote would mean the UK Border controls being moved from France to Dover, the implication being that the migrants would then make it direct onto UK soil before being detected .

Not sure how this could be mitigated against

          Landmines
          Acid trenches
Anti-swimmer torpedos - give Trident a use at last.

That's a bit of a soft approach but best I could think of without Strax to consult with.

Actually quite an interesting point although on the other hand, the current setup doesn't appear to work that well. On our soil we'd presumably have a greater element of control?

Maybe the government(s) should set up massive public work projects - road building, etc, to benefit from all these extra pairs of hands.

It could be "mitigated against" by closing the Channel Tunnel to all traffic until the French agreed to continue something like the present arrangement.

You are John Maynard Keynes I claim my 5 state intervention vouchers

Just been watching Frenchie PM on BBC news - it's hard to see how a nation (in this case the EU as a entity) that cannot control its borders can continue to exist

Can we not just scuttle the channel tunnel into the sea?
