You seem so wrapped up in your commonplace assumptions you're incapable of seeing that others (the US Government for a start!) have different priorities.

(and a common assumption in government circles is "sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof", or in modern terms "let's worry about that when it happens"!)
The motivations for the USA at the time weren't exactly rational - this is why Britain shouldn't have been tagging along, especially given the lack of dividends that bit if puppetry yielded.

Christ I'm an American and I can see the wingnuttery of it. Did you sign up to the Royal Marines or just go see the movie on TV?

Given he's a trained soldier, he's probably more qualified to survive out there.
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't exist

Maybe then all the people should be forces trained out there in order to survive
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Despite the flaws people want to come here because they're less likely to be blown up, oddly enough. Let them get settled and then they'll complain about discrimination.
And nothing to do with free housing, healthcare and benefits for them and their extended family
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

The main reason why so many non-EU immigrants want to come to the UK is because it is allegedly full of jobs, and it is easy to get 'papers' here. In contrast, France have a lack of job, and incredible bureaucracy. Applying for asylum takes 18 months or more, and in the end only 30% are approved.

The remedy is therefore obviously to make the UK as unattractive as France by:

                a. tell them that there are no jobs, and
                b. introduce French-style bureaucracy.

I thought we were talking about non-EU migrants here. Typical UKipper, deliberately distorting things to suit their own agenda.
Technically, EU citizens just move, they don't migrate, unless UKIP believe that moving from Glasgow to Cardiff is 'migrating'.

Unfortunately whilst there are 'employers' who are willing to undercut everyone else in the market by employing these 'immigrants' as opposed to forcing those who take benefits into the job then we're stuck with that argument.

Then we should remove the immigrants. Then remove the benefits.
