Beloved Scottish actor Robbie Coltrane has passed away aged 72, his agent has confirmed to Deadline.
The Harry Potter, James Bond and Cracker star passed away in hospital near his home in Larbert, Scotland. The award-winning actor had been in ill health for the past two years.

True story this: I was with a young lady in a central London hotel a few years ago, when we bumped into Robbie Coltrane in the lobby - who proceeded to hold the door open for us (a true gentleman).
She gave an inquisitive look as to say "you look familiar, but I can't place you".
So I said "This is one of Scotland's greatest actors"
followed by
"In Nuns on the Run"
Coltrane gave a belly laugh and walked off.
She remained confused...
