Still, good for the money, I must admit I have drunk a fair amount of it.

A lot of people say they don't like champagne, that is usually because they have not drunk any good ones.
We had a bottle of 2002 Grande Annee Bol last weekend. Quite possibly my favourite bubbles yet. Bloody larrrrvly
    I'm a smug bastard.

If you're splitting the bottle, sure. You'd buy a dram in a pub to see if you like something, and that would cost about the same as splitting a bottle a few ways. I just don't want to spend £50 on something unknown.

Tulipe deals on Amazon, much worse than last year which wasn't great either.

Yes. The kind who wants to retire as soon as possible.

I love Talisker. I hate Talisker storm - it's horrid.
I've not tried the new one. Dark storm or something like that.

                    Have you tried Skye?

I find most smoky whiskies taste like someone got a nice whisky then used it to wash out some ashtrays, but I've never made a serious attempt to get to like them.

Anyone tried Octomore? Sounds like a total gimmick to me.

I once had a client going on a serious bribing act to try and get a contract, have any bottle of wine up to £5000

So I just picked one close to that, was it worth it no

Yes it tasted good, but anything over about £20 normally does, it's all a con
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.
