I once had a client going on a serious bribing act to try and get a contract, have any bottle of wine up to £5000

So I just picked one close to that, was it worth it no

Yes it tasted good, but anything over about £20 normally does, it's all a con

I've not tried the new one. Dark storm or something like that.
    Have you tried Skye?

I find most smoky whiskies taste like someone got a nice whisky then used it to wash out some ashtrays, but I've never made a serious attempt to get to like them.

Anyone tried Octomore? Sounds like a total gimmick to me.

A lot of people say they don't like champagne, that is usually because they have not drunk any good ones.
We had a bottle of 2002 Grande Annee Bol last weekend. Quite possibly my favourite bubbles yet. Bloody larrrrvly

I've heard their champagne is very good for the price too. Thing is, £45-50 is quite a lot for a bottle (for me) so I'd normally save that for something I know I like. And I don't typically drink blends. But I might see if any of my whisky friends want to go shares

I got some 2nd hand 1980s MERP and Rolemaster books, and a whole lot of modules set in the Lord of The Rings setting so we can have some old school RPG sessions

It will be great when all the goths and geeks I know visit for christmas
