I've got an Alienware for when I need a desktop replacement, but for commuting and running Visual Studio, Sql Server, Photoshop etc it's more than powerful enough
It's great, the battery life is good, and it's so lightweight I can use it anywhere, I wouldn't be without it, it's the best product they've launched for years
I wouldn't bother with an i7 though, get an i5, and spend the money on a bigger SSD, and budget for having a surface keyboard as wellSocialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent. -
If it costs over £2k make sure you get the boxes of tissues on the same receipt so you can claim the VAT back on them.....Originally posted by diseasex View PostAnyone have this beast ? i have an iPad but would like to do some work from bed from time to time (with visual studio). Waiting for the surface book.
Annoys me to no end that there is no ETA for the UK market.Unless you're the lead dog, the scenery never changes.

If it's only for the occasional work from bed, why not use RDP on the iPad to connect to your Desktop/laptop running VS?Comment

What major differences are there between SP3 and SP4? Both come with i5/i7 options and the headline specs seem similar, the new SP3 come with W10 installed and are cheaper.
Is using one of these as a desktop replacement as simple as buying a USB hub (for keyboard+mouse) and HDMI cable?Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
