I have a SP3, and it is a very nice piece of kit. It is perfectly capable of whatever I tend to throw at it, although I do have a powerful laptop as desktop replacement.....

The SP3 is particularly useful at work. Far better to turn up for meetings at ClientCo with OneNote and Surface Pen than yesteryears pen and notepad.......separates the permies from the contractors

Not pushed my Surface 3 that hard yet but it's a lovely bit of kit (c£530 including keyboard). Got it instead of a new laptop though, not as a tablet replacement.

Myco paid for me to create and edit training videos and manhandle Enterprise Architect. Isn't playing games a side issue?

After finding this article : Europe could see six-month wait for Microsoft Surface Book - sources - from Channelnomics.eu I am giving up hope of a surface book and I'm gonna buy a pimped out Dell XPS 13.
