Ah, the Right Honourable Member for Bristol South.
I've met her twice - the first time was at a constituency surgery when I was part of a team lobbying for an extension of the Avon Valley Railway into Bristol.
The next time was a few months later at Whitchurch Summer Fete and I asked her if she remembered our conversation and if any actions had been taken to which she replied "Didn't you sell me a corn on the cob at Gay Pride?"
Just shows how much these people listen to us.Comment

One must grudingly admit that was quite an original way of ducking the questionOriginally posted by Martin Scroatman View PostI asked her if she remembered our conversation and if any actions had been taken to which she replied "Didn't you sell me a corn on the cob at Gay Pride?" ...
I wouldn't have thought she had it in her (the wit, not the corn on the cob).Work in the public sector? Read the IR35 FAQ hereComment

Why does everybody hate her so much? It's because of her incompetence that you've all managed to go on not paying your taxes for so long. She should be hailed as a heroine to contractors everywhere.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment

No she gave us a different utterly insane and implausible set of hoops that we continually jump through.Originally posted by VectraMan View PostWhy does everybody hate her so much?
