Jolly Good show Sir!Originally posted by TheLordDave View PostI hereby give my 2 weeks notice of resignation as sanitation engineer. Back to being a software engineer and sorting out other people's tulip. So the same job really.
(and I hope your Mrs is OK now)I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

Boy that was a close one.
Got a call yesterday for a role very close to home (Harpenden). The pimp put me forward and was on the blower inside of 20 minutes. They really like your CV and want to give you a first round telephone interview tomorrow sometime between 12 and 13:30. Firm up details in the morning.
Fortunately the pimp rang at 11:20am this morning to say that he cannot get hold of the client for love nor money, and the cheeky little scoundrel isn't responding to emails.
Phew!

Damn - didn't get the Bath role.
I am about to be offered a role I really don't particularly want though: 1 & 1/2 hours commute each way for 20% less than my usual rate.
In the absence of anything else, I may have to accept. Don't exactly feel motivated though.Comment
