Data is a few years out of date, but I don't think the numbers have moved that much.
£150K pa is a one-percenter... some high end contractors will reach this bar, although I suspect most contractors are in the top 2-3%.
Either way, that is well within comrade-Corbyn's cross-hairs - he's targeting anyone earning over 50K - the top 10%.
Median income is only £21K, meaning half the tax paying population earns less than that (which doesn't even include those not paying tax cause they are on benefits).
You want "real democracy" - be very careful what you wish for.Comment
