    Real democracy?

Labour leadership: Party needs 'real democracy', says Corbyn - BBC News

This guy is dangerous. I think he will meet with a nasty accident. Imaging the country being run for the benefit of the people instead of the 1%.

The establishment won't like that. I remember Roger Cook telling the press openly that there were no WMDs.
Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

Democracy: where two idiots outvote a genius

        He's another Michael Foot.

Tony Blair's warning to Labour evokes memories of Michael Foot - BBC News
Mr Foot campaigned on a platform that included:

        unilateral nuclear disarmament
        higher taxes
        nationalisation of the banks
withdrawal from the European Economic Community (EEC)
the abolition of the House of Lords

The Labour manifesto, 700 pages long, and in retrospect rather optimistically entitled The New Hope for Britain, did not bother to summarise the policies but instead simply included everything to avoid a bitter public clash between rival factions.

One story has it that a policy for socialist puppy farms was only just kept out of the final document.
He will repel voters of all sides of the political spectrum. So on that basis, I wish him well.

Simon Danczuk, the Rochdale MP, told the BBC "the vast majority in the Parliamentary Labour Party... will not like the direction of travel" if the left-winger wins.
So Labour finally showing their true colours - they are a left wing party and even they recognise they are fooked if they actually let someone with left wing views run the party.

it is going to be fun watching all the champagne socialists start voting lib dem (or whatever they are called!)

            Blah blah blah.

Aren't contractors in the 1% anyway?

At least we have a choice now Tories or Labour. This tory government doesn't give a tulip about young people while bending over backwards to appease tory voting pensioners, choice is good and something this country sorely needs.

I think you overestimate what 'normal' people earn - £35k is a high salary in most parts of the UK isn't it?
