Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.
1.5 hour drive each day. Spent listening to audio books and or phoning family
Monday + Tuesday 10 hour day (including 1 hour of training at lunchtime).
Wednesday + Thursday 8 hour day (including 1 hour of training at lunch).
Friday 9 hour day (including an hour of training at lunch).
15 minute each way commute, but I lift share with a fellow contractor who lives nearby so only have to drive every other day as well. Contract is for a PWD but ends up being between 7-8 hours when you factor in lunch + coffee breaks
I''ll be sad to see this one end - will be there 12 months come end of the year but client have a reputation for not keeping contractors around long-term so I'm not holding my breath for more extensions.
I'm not someone for long commutes, a mate of mine is contracting about 75 mins drive each way and hates the fact that I'm home and had dinner by the time he gets in. Life's too short to spend it all working, or worse still, driving!
Roughly an hour each way, though only because I leave home at 7am and ClientCorp at 4pm - shift those times later by thirty minutes and it adds an hour or more to the total travel time, due to hitting the rush hour at both ends, twice
