What pet insurance do people use? Cheap and cheerful or more expensive but covers more? Got a free month with petplan - do I just go with them long term, or is there a better option?

We use petplan I think. I know it's a for-life policy which means that if the dog needs treatment for something they can't call it a pre-existing condition come renewal time or jack the fees up.
Although every time we have to go to the vets the bill is always about a quid lower than the mandatory excess.Comment
