But doesn't a study need to make a statement before it is either proved or disproved? They don't care in studies if the title is correct or not as long as a conclusion is made at the end of the study.

There is no way of getting this right. Someone moron is going to be offended what tey say or do. Sometimes you just have to swallow it and hope the outcome justifies the problems. If we can get an answer to this that will keep people safe from whoever then it can't be a bad thing can it. Some people just want if fixing rather than getting hung up on titles.

Headlines are actually very important despite your poor protestations. School children see then on the buses, commuters on the tube, travellers on the railways. Headlines are key in influencing public opinion. When the public constantly see Muslim and Islam related to the word terrorist, paedophile, rape etc then you are increasing islamaphobia for years to come and id have thought somebody of your intellect would be able to recognise that.

Well that's something you will never fix. Even if the powers that be do the best job possible some sensationalist trying to sell papers with 10 or less words is always gonna upset someone. No point getting in to a heated debate about it. Just have to grow some and take them with a pinch of salt.
