I know certain situations are very different, but the more I read this the luckier I feel that my ex and i get on really well, don't get me wrong at one time it was very very fractious but we soon worked out what was best for the kids and then things moved from there.
In terms of the original article what they are saying is that once the kid is at school (I think they say Y2 so 5/6) there is nothing stopping the mother starting to provide for herself, just like what would happen if she was claiming benefits, she would be told to start looking for a job when the youngest child is old enough. This doesn't mean all support from the ex-husband stops, but is reduced in line with her earning capacity.Originally posted by Stevie Wonder BoyI can't see any way to do it can you please advise?

Next time I fell like getting married I will find a woman I hate and buy her a house.Originally posted by vwdan View PostDo you actually believe this? As in, you can read back what you posted and think "Yup, that's absolutely bang on - over 50% of women plan to simply meet rich men, have their children and take their money"?Comment

Not in my case they didn't.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostAs mandated by the sexist secretive family courts. Who declare that men are bad. The ruling is just.
Off topic - However I am not sure I believe in equality, in this sense (calm down). What might seem like a great idea to some women now, could eventually force them to live like men, and not in a good way, which neither sex will want.Comment
