Are they the bits where the beautiful lady in the tower lets her hair down so the hero can climb up or where the children make a trail with bread crumbs and the birds eat them?
I'm not even an atheist so much as I am an antitheist; I not only maintain that all religions are versions of the same untruth, but I hold that the influence of churches, and the effect of religious belief, is positively harmful. [Christopher Hitchens]

I thought you were a fan of the "let people do what makes them happy if it doesn't hurt anyone" philosophy? Following that logic IF a woman is happy with a role of supporting her husband isn't that OK? (note: I'm not saying that IS the correct biblical teaching, just playing )

I am. But if that's what they then teach their daughters/sons it is hurting someone, IMO. I guess if you believe that that's "right" then you'd argue it's not hurting anyone.

All new bishops get a new copy.

Even the twat that's being ordained next week will get one.

If she prays really hard to Santa she might get a box set of Breaking Bad, failing that Dexter.

You don't think that teaching both boy and girl children that girls should be subservient and not speak up/ask questions could be harmful? Taking it to extremes, it results in situation often found in other religions where women are forced to marry against their will, and beaten by abusive husbands.
