No point in having a gun, if you aren't combat trained to use it? There is one thing having one, but another knowing that you would be able to use it to take another human being's life...
I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).

...these are ones I just find funny. Some of the ones from Titanic and Konkret (2 German satirical magazines) are much more biting, quite often more so than Hebdo...

those are all attacks on people not Gods. If Private Eye had Jesus snogging Judas whilst taking the Virgin Mary up the OXO tower then it might be comparable with some of Hebdo's covers.

Now are you suggesting that the US covered the magazine because Elton was gay or because its company policy to jacket that magazine because it won't agree to an offence free (no nudity or rude words) cover policy ?
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

Err, that should be a requirement for responsible gun ownership - if you can't afford to spend a couple of grand on good training when to and when not to use the gun then should not be allowed to have one.

If I had a gun and some nutter started killing my colleagues then I personally won't have any problems to kill him.

They often have cartoons mocking religion, regardless of which one. I don't have all their covers but here's a couple of religious ones:

              And here's Jesus and Judas:

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

You can't reasonably expect that, the best Govt can do is punish those who committed crimes. A gun on the other hand could have helped protect them.

Guess that was the thought process of these terrorists with -> nutter = NATO forces ; Colleagues = Innocent families in their land or Fellow terrorists.

What has good training got to do with applying common sense? Or are you referring to Common sense training?

Of course you would. Why else would you vote these pricks to power?

If the govt wouldn't or couldn't, people have every right to ask for owning tools for self-defense.

If you are untrained with a gun then you can hit innocents, miss the target and they can kill you. Training should be compulsory part of gun license ownership, no less than it is with the car ownership, plus 3rd party insurance.
