You've just outed yourself as an occasional pub-goer. Get OUT! This is a local pub for local alcoholics, I mean, drinkers. -
A bar opened in Glasgow a few years ago where regulars could get a microchip inserted into their arm. Yes, into the flesh of their body, so that when they walked through the door and past a scanner, the barman would have a message flash up so he could pour their favourite drink without being asked.
It's closed down.Comment

We don't call them Alcoholics, we call them "Publicans Friends". Or Possibly 'Liquid Crusaders Fighting the Holy War Against the Tee-Total Taliban'.

There's a particular dish option on my preferred indian place's menu that I'm pretty sure I'm the only one to ever order. Within 5 mins of the order going in the chef comes over and says hello.Originally posted by SimonMac View PostI have a few coffee shops which know my name and order from memory!
I will be having it on Saturday (probably)Comment

9 years I've been frequenting this establishment, and finally there's a CUK post that makes complete sense. Cheers.
