I see that you now resort to insults? Does it make you feel powerful?Originally posted by d000hg View PostNo it doesn't, you grade-A hand-wringing moron.I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).Comment

the missus will not ever recruit a black carer.
Some of the muslim families refuse to let them in the house

The Koran is full of stories mentioned in the Bible - both old and new testament. What you're probably thinking of is the story of Ishmael and Isaac. The OT story has it that Isaac inherited from Abraham; the Koran that Ishmael inherited. This certainly would have appealed to the Arabs, since, traditionally, they are descended from Ishmael (the Jews from Isaac). The fact that the OT account is hundreds of years older than the Koran is handled by Islam by saying that the Bible was corrupted by the Jews and Christians.Originally posted by d000hg View PostI'd always thought there was a split in the OT which is where Islam came from (legitimate vs illegitimate children or something like that). I wonder what, if any, religion that spawned since clearly it wasn't Islam!Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

So, someone who requires a carer is a beggar and cultural sensitivities shouldn't be considered?Originally posted by original PM View PostLove this sort of thing...

What about an old British soldier who was a POW held by the Japanese. Would you expect him to be receptive to being looked after by a Japanese carer?Originally posted by vetran View PostOn discrimination they should be subject to the same rules as everyone else.
Or a Jew being cared for by a Mohammedan?Last edited by Churchill; 17 September 2014, 13:28.Comment

the first is a reasonable exception and is a case by case basis. Pretty rare now though I would bet.Originally posted by Churchill View PostWhat about an old British soldier who was a POW held by the Japanese. Would you expect him to be receptive to being looked after by a Japanese carer?

the second if the carer can't behave then they shouldn't be employed, if the customer can't behave then it needs managing.Comment
