Take them a selection of British food e.g.
    1. Curry sauce in a jar.
    2. Baked beans
    3. Spaghetti hoops in tomato sauce
    4. Spam
    5. Caburys dairy milk
    6. Pork scratchings
    7. Pork pie

And some Yorkshire tea to wash it down with.

Remember anything typically English that isn't foul has generally been stolen from elsewhere in the world.

Sadly about 90% of the suggestions you can now buy in supermarkets here so I don't bother with bringing any thing English in unless it is really obscure, instead I bring in something local from where I live as they can't get that where I work. Take in something local to Luton, if there is anything...
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Is seaside rock quintessentially English, or do they have that everywhere?

How about giving them a nice surprise instead, like going to work not reeking of booze.
