    You really are retarded

Bank of Scotland was bought by the Halifax in early 2000's.

Technology and management was migrated to Halifax. Andy Hornby was the Halifax chief exec, an English Chief exec of a Company with it's major employment centres in England.

Bank of Scotland has not been a Scottish Bank since about 2002. It has a Scottish banking licence and a Registered office in Scotland, and a small number of operational people, in comparison to it's centres in England.

Try to, at least once in your life, make the comments before your obligatory be something at least a teeny wee bit accurate.

We all know what it is down here, but I am not sure the Scots will like the symbolism such a move represents. Especially given their inward looking small minded Nationalism
So what is Scotlands bank then?

Cutting jobs is never popular so if a business can blame a specific event it will, it happens all the time. Let's face it the banks have been mostly useless anyway especially RBS.

Says the man who wants a currency union, and claims that Ireland had a currency union with the UK until 1979.

RBS is 64% owned by the Government, hardly surprising they are being used as a mouthpiece for the No camp.

Bookies odds of a YES vote have drifted to 7/2. Looks unlikely now, which is a pity.

A good point. They are hardly going to join the yes campaign.

I think the last few days have not been good for yes, every day seems to be a big news item in favour of no.

I think there will be some trouble over the weekend at some of the events, some of the yessers are reaching fever pitch and will be losing it. UKIP event will probably be the one.
