      .
So tax policy in England would be dictated by Scotland. England would have far more to loose. Not to mention a larger economy would be unable to move as quickly as a smaller one.

House prices were supposed to crash across the UK in 2008. We're still waiting.
Considering how much the government has done to prop them up, it's no surprise they've not fallen. The issue is more that central banks cannot do this indefinitely. It is channelling wealth into a market which is effectively a case of "keeping up with the Jones" and highly sensitive to even small increases in interest rates. So they may well fall in the future.

Their governments would be worse off in that less wealth would flow to them. That isn't necessarily a bad thing...

Good grief, is there anyone left in the UK with 'skills'? That exodus is long underway.

Scotland needs enact policy that'll target those from poorer backgrounds, making a skilled workforce with belief. And no reliance on immigrants.

The alteration to tax policy will be far easier to expedite in an established government rather than on Wee Eck's ship of fools.

That particular piece of tax policy can be adjusted in rUK faster than Salmond can say "Free Scotland".

Also a larger economy can move quicker, because the policy change can be better cushioned by the size of the economy.

Can Salmond afford to drop it by another 3% - after rUK has tracked him down once - where will the money come from ???

The SNP cut 130,000 college places to pay for free tuition fees.

As a result we have less people from working class backgrounds going to uni than England.

I'd hate to be a citizen of that country. No matter where you reside you liable to pay taxes to them.

He could drop VAT on days with odd numbers in them. That'd be a laugh.
