The 'Do you agree' question was binned because it was leading.

But 'yes' is positive, 'no' is negative.

    What if the question was

'Should Scotland remain as part of the United Kingdom'

I wonder if the 'yes' campaign would have the same impetus as a 'no' campaign.

Maybe RBS will learn to be a business again rather than a massive welfare queen. Or maybe that's why they plan to move to England, because we have quite bailed them out enough yet.

So surely all the taxpayers of the UK get a vote?
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

No because that arrogant ****wit who is the UK's Tory Prime Minster decided to only allow people currently living in Scotland who are EU citizens aged 16 and over to vote on one option.

Is this the article where the CEO said he would be moving the REGISTERED OFFICE to London and it would have no impact on operations or jobs ?

This one: 'It's my view as chief executive that any decision to move our registered headquarters would have no impact on everyday banking services used by customers in Scotland. This is a technical procedure regarding the location of our registered head office, based on our current strategy and business plan. It is not an intention to move operations or jobs'."

And you said there are no scare stories

RBS has already started slashing jobs so they will just continue with what they are doing......

And WTF does that have to do with Scottish Independence ? **** all !!

HBOS (Lloyds) and RBS have been slashing jobs and offshoring since the bailout. Scotland voting either Yes or No won't change that.

They are not "moving". The registered head office would change to england. Which they stated 16 months ago. The scare stories in the press are staggering. Almost none of the senior exec work in Scotland anyway.

Exactly...FS is downsizing and will continue to do so. Its really only admin and IT that works in Scotland...and they are down to very small levels.

The UK press should be ashamed.

It doesn't look very good when the "Bank of Scotland" decides to leave Scotland
You can get Fred Goodwin back to start another national bank for you
