My mum's upset.
She's (currently) Scottish, but apparently after independence, to get a Scottish passport, you have to have been born in, or currently live in Scotland.
She was born in India to Scottish parents, lived in Scotland from aged 1 - 36, and has a strong Scottish accent. After independence I guess she won't be Scottish. I wonder if the Indians will have her.Comment

On a serious note, Mudskipper, are you sure the rules are as simple as current residence or place of birth ?
There's 100 loopholes in the eligibility criteria to play for Scotland in various sports, so can't see this being any different. When freedom comes along, don't PISH in the water supply.....Comment

You only had to observe what happens in the met to see the problems a super force creates. Add to that the 'named person' laws that are a total invasion of privacy to parents. This is the way dictatorships work.
Essentially I want nothing to do with this new government if it comes to pass. I will look to ways to move my company south, I will try to keep a British passport by refusing a Scottish one and if Standard Life who hold my pension don't move south as promised I will move my pension there myself. I fear the government will try to dip private pensions in the future.
Edit: add to that the SNPs attempts to end corroboration in the courts which the judges don't want.Comment

That actually won't happen, but I fully expect it to get into a Bitter Together campaign document, and it will probably happen in Minestrone's wine soaked brain. When freedom comes along, don't PISH in the water supply.....Comment
