And whilst there are many unpleasant side effects (don't buy an expensive car otherwise the neighbours will get the revenue onto you) it works for the benefit of all.

I doubt very much that the socialist envy driven politicians that would run Scotland would have the competence or the humility to actually lead Scotland in this direction. it is already an unpleasant place for entrepreneurs and businessmen to become wealthy (the good ones come to London) so the omens for wealth creation are not good.

My own fear is that Scotland will descend into a petty socialist state relying on handouts from the IMF (once it cannot borrow). Corruption will be rife and it will end up being bought out by an Albanian sovereign fund.

If I were the petty Scots on this site with their own substantial earnings I would be more concerned about who they give their new found power to rather than showing off their inferiority complex by using the Yes vote to score points over the English.

True. But at least I don't suffer from an inferiority complex

Nice and convenient however for you to avoid having to confront difficult challenges

          Envy?

This is how people are betting with William Hill, not the odds of it happening.

What challenges? You only gave your pessimistic opinion of what you think of Scotland and it's citizens.

I appreciate that the true agenda behind the yes voting Scots is nothing more than a sulk against the English. The best they can do in terms of having a vision for the future is to align their ambitions into copying Norway.

Our own chippy CUK zealot Scots may however be shooting themselves in the foot:

Norway is one of the most egalitarian of countries. In 2010, 95% of Norwegians earned less than £50,000 a year, and they have one of the flattest income distributions in the world. They look with horror on countries like America and Britain where millions are in poverty while the top 1% get richer and richer. They believe that low wages damage the economy – and they are right.

It may be that these two are contractors who can only dream of earning £50 k per year. If however they are typical decent contractors earning a proper rate then their earnings will attract the attention of those who are tasked with ensuring Scotland remains "egalitarian". Expect to pay a lot of tax on your earnings or have your cars vandalised is all I can say

As you were unable to counter my opinion you took the cowardly route of avoiding the issue by branding me a liar.

Here's a tip for you Pooper, the bookies don't lose money. They don't offer generous odds on a sure thing. They're offering those odds because they're trying to balance their book by getting more bets on "Yes" because they're overexposed to a "No" result.
