Oh Dear - sorry about that MrBob.

We meant no harm and it was a breakfast thread. Would you like us to take the photo down?

I had a couple of beers for breakfast at 7.30am last week when the missus and kids were away. And my GP reckons I'm an alcoholic. What a lot of tosh.

Not to second guess MrBob, but he added as the icon for his post so I don't think he's cross about it

I just want to make sure, he may be open to becoming the CUK breakfast guru and I don't want to upset him

Tetleys in a Leeds pub in 2010 was a fine pint. It never travelled very well.

Nah. I can't remember exactly when it was farmed out to be produced under license elsewhere but without being brewed in the traditional Yorkshire Squares and without the original well water it just didn't have the same taste. Allied with the dubious decision to reduce the ABV from 3.8 to 3.6 in order to take advantage of lower rates of duty, it's not been on the radar for a long time. Shame, cos whilst always being mass produced, it was a quality brew.
