But I'm running out of patience with this drip drip of basic questions. I'll wait until you as an intelligent one. If you want to be a contractor, learn to think for yourself.Blog? What blog...?Comment

That is one of the most ridiculous questions I've heard in a long time. You are definitely not cut out to be a contractor.Comment

Go back to your very 1st post and start reading..."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

The contract will be between your Limited Company and the agency, the agency will then have a contract with the end client. If you are working through an umbrella company you will work under a contract of employment with them and they will have a contract with the agency.
With regard to the agency margin (and assuming you're not a sockie) - work out what you think is a fair rate for your skills and don't take any lower than that - negotiations work both ways! At the end of the day if the contract isn't paying enough, don't take itComment
