Agreed. Remember many giving advice on this thread are apologists for recruitment agents, seeking to muddy the waters on their real tactics, which they don't want us to know of.

Maybe the stingy clients should just be upfront and tell the truth, which is that the agency managed to push the most desperate applicant down to a price so cheap they couldn't refuse.

And still you fail to recognize the irony in the replies you receive, can you really not see that people have come to their conclusions about you and are now just humouring you?

You really do have a simpletons view on how the world works for contractors in the UK right now, agents are a necessary evil, work with them, find the ones that add value and work with them, life really is too short...

Life too short say the people who don't want their unethical, parasitic practices exposed and put under the microscope for all to examine. Why? Because ultimately they will find their dodgy 'profession' regulated more and clientco returning to in-house recruitment practices.

Exactly. I happen to know that a couple of posters are in fact agents masquerading as contractors.

I am not sure that would be appropriate behaviour in the professional forums.

OG, could I remind you about the main post in the hidden forum?
