    Well my tuppence worth...

    Large consultancy..
Chance to move around, in charge of your own career, structured training/career path, benefits probably flexible, easy to disappear as a number if that is what you want, more chance of getting 9-5 without fear of getting the push

    Small company
Probably hard work, little chance to move around, probably not much training or related support structure, good recognition for work, little scope for slacking but possibly good rewards if company successful, won't be a number and will have to step up, more chance of it going wrong if you don't fit but could be rewarding.

Just have to pick what type of worker you are and see which environment suits you.

Remember you pay tax on company cars so they are not the perk they used to be many years ago, most people take the cash option.

That is one of the most dangerous things to consider. The salary is lower though.
Then tell them you want more money. FFS when did this become PermieUK?
And the lord said unto John; "come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster.
