In terms of the economy I think we are about to hit a downturn in stocks. I suspect if stocks start dropping again IT expenditure for a lot of corporates will be restricted again. It may be another miserable winterComment

"The market" normally means how many contracts there are. What is really important however is the number of contracts per (competent) available contractor.
Christmas and summer are always poor 'markets', but I've found contracts in both periods without difficulty due in part to lack of candidates.
Anyway I don't care about November. Spring '10 is all that matters to me
