Really? Have you had that experience as a contractor? I guess I have been lucky not to have my contract terminated early, so I have never found out. Just remember, you are a contractor. If your contract has been terminated, don't expect them to pay you your notice period. You are not a permie.

Notice periods have to paid off when you are a Contractor, if its in the "contract" - hence the term...... "Contractor". You can work them, or be asked to be off-site and get paid for them.

Just walk out and tell the client you are not coming back. You will be in breach of contract, and you may or may not get paid.

Yep. I wouldn't work with the OP. When I worked at RBS, an indian guy joined the team. He wasn't happy with the rate, so he decided to accept the role, and take it up with HR. He managed to upset HR and was asked to leave. The OP of this post, reminds me of him.....
