Thanks for the advise on this one . I don't think I will take a longer contract just to jack it in after three months though
Go for Project Support then, those contracts are often shorter.

      1 month - that's your problem. I get short contracts from ex-clients or ex-employers.

You're going to need to build your contacts before getting really short contracts.
      +1

From previous experience, short-term work is almost impossible to obtain other than in places where one already has an established reputation. Particularly for PM roles, the PM is usually expected to be around for the whole life-cycle and track record is essential.

Pehaps consider aspects of PM skills that could be applied to short assignments.
For example, bid management, project audit.

You could always try UpWork or Fiverr

          Bit of a personal question?

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

I've seen a lot of ads for Fiverr recently.

They tend to have fairly low rates don't they?

It's just an easy front end for small services, super cheap from India and other places like that isn't it? Like Aliexpress is to the China goods market?

I don't think it's set up for project management type roles worthy of doing is it?

Try looking for a long term contract and you will be offered a short term one.
