Go for Project Support then, those contracts are often shorter.

6 months - no problem, most contracts are this length, some may be 3 but most are.

1 month - that's your problem. I get short contracts from ex-clients or ex-employers.

You're going to need to build your contacts before getting really short contracts.

From previous experience, short-term work is almost impossible to obtain other than in places where one already has an established reputation. Particularly for PM roles, the PM is usually expected to be around for the whole life-cycle and track record is essential.

Pehaps consider aspects of PM skills that could be applied to short assignments.
For example, bid management, project audit.

It's just an easy front end for small services, super cheap from India and other places like that isn't it? Like Aliexpress is to the China goods market?

I don't think it's set up for project management type roles worthy of doing is it?

Try looking for a long term contract and you will be offered a short term one.
