Am I reading all this correctly!?
The OP states he is looking to go back to Nationwide because...
Needs 2 years of day rate pay
It was easy last time in 2013
Didn't have to do an awful lot of work to do previously which was a plus point
Has been working from home for the last 2 years on easy street and couldn't possibly go straight into a busy contract
No wonder a lot of permies get really narked by contractors

Magic. Thankyou.Originally posted by ensignia View PostIt was AMS. Put me through at £xxx and then when they called with the offer it was £110 less than agreed. When I sent them proof of the agreed rate they didn't even acknowledge it
Lucky at that time, I had offers from several other places so wasn't reliant on this but I've had problems with AMS before and they operate on 30 day payment terms as well.Comment

I don't think you understand the dynamic at NW. It's the contractors that do the work while the permies do very little from what I saw. Indeed, I was a permie there until 2004 so I know although things may have changed since the departure of Phil Williamson as CEO.Originally posted by Funhouse View PostAm I reading all this correctly!?

I would advise him to stay out of Professional if he want his sockies to last more than a few posts."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."
