Where can I receive a professional review to confirm in or out of IR35

I am been offered a new contract with a new client which is non-IR35 using a Statement of Work model.

Its the first time I am going down this route and not sure what I should be looking for within the contract itself to ensure it is outside of IR35.

Is there any recommended services/providers who will review a SoW contract and confirm from their perspective if it is outside IR35?

also a quick off-topic query, is there some sort of insurance to protect you against any HMRC investigations? I had heard a couple of years ago that this did exist however did not look into it previously but would be interested in it now.

      Yep. QDOS for a review.
I have IPSE+ for legal cover, but QDOS offer a package as well. IPSE+ won't pay you if you lose, but you're very unlikely to lose if you do it right.

What’s your new clients IR35 determination on the status of the contract ?

Statement of work gives more than a slight clue that in their eyes it's outside...

It does, provided the deliverables are sufficiently robust and limited in scope.

I would also suggest Merkel Tax (discounted though IPSE but available to all) since they look at the whole commercial contract rather than focussing on the IR35 elements. That might be handy for SoW type contracts. They will cost a bit more though...

Are the new rules not coming in this April ? And won't it be the clients problem post April ? So is it worth bothering for 2 months billing if they are offering an outside contract.

If the OP doesn't know where to get an IR35 review what has he been doing for diligence for all this other contracts? He must have had his head firmly in the sand to miss the noise around the public sector and near miss last year.
