Whats the biggest problems bathroom renovating contractors face?

Hi guys I am new to the forum and have started my own bathroom renovating business. I worked as a tiler for years and have teamed up with my friend. What are some of the problems you have faced in your business? Is it marketing, finding new jobs or is it finding good staff?

The vast majority of people on here are IT contractors. Maybe a couple of oil and gas and a few locums/nurses but we have no builders. It's a slightly different type of contractor. We get most of our business through clients using agencies who advertise on Job forums. The other way is through personal recommendations and networks on Linkedin so no need to market. We tend to do 6+ to x years gigs at clients that need IT work doing.

The vast majority of us are one man limited companies so staff isn't a problem either.

I very much doubt there is anything we can help with regarding bathroom renovating beyond what DIY we've done. Most of us have butlers and house staff to do jobs around the house though.

My 18 month old daughter came home with sand in her hair, and now my bathroom swivel plug is jammed. I've tried emptying the water, hair dryer, silicon spray, brute force with a hammer and nothing.... driving me mental.

This is way outside my skillset, I'm not sure I'd make it as a bathroom contractor.

In my personal experience, it's getting a b^stard plumber to turn up and do the work. Or even answer the phone. If I had a vaguely similar attitude to work i'd be out on the street, but these cash in hand monkeys seem immune to any concept of customer service.

OP - if you do what you say you'll do, when you say you'll do it then you'll be laughing. BTW - I hear disabled facilities is a nice niche to be involved in. Especially as councils/charities etc have to install this stuff, and you can charge them double.
