Moving from Test Management to Project Management!!!

Jobserve shows 22 odd test manager roles posted in the last 7 day. Even more if you are willing to take a test analyst role. Doesn't seem to be that dry? What am I missing?

Wow! Using JS as a barometer! Let's see, excluding Sunday that 22 test manager roles in 6 days. Give or take that's 3 and a bit roles a day. Presumably they are not all the same role advertised across a numbe rof agents?

And how many applicant do you think they might get for each role?

I can see now why you struggle so much and that's without telling you that there are many niches within 'testing.' Oh, I guess I just did tell you!

As I said, a number of agents have said they havent had many testing roles in the last few months.

Indeed but the way the OP is talking there is nothing out there and he is being forced to move skillet, which hasn't sunken in to him he can't easily as a contractor.

If OP can't get past an agent for a test management niche, then how on earth does he expect to move into a completely new discipline with no experience?

So you don't make person connections with people then?

Why do you think they choose you at the same rate as X over there whose CV to them looks the same?
