I'm on the verge of paying a bill to British Gas despite having transferred to SSE because SSE have transferred the wrong property. I've already paid SSE but British Gas insist on payment and it could take up to 6 weeks to sort out according to SSE

They also claimed that they had not breached the DPA because they said my personal information was never shared with this other "me". I said they had breached the DPA because they gave me that person's email address, phone number and full postal address. They kept repeating my details weren't shared so no breach. Never got around to complaining to the Information Commissioner. I ought to really.Comment

It turns out that their systems can't handle two people with the same name and will automatically assume they are the same person. Took months to sort out while I had panics over identity theft.

Defaults also include missed payments and some companies also take a dim view if you've used payday loans. Sign up to Noddle for free to see your payment history if you're not sure what it is. A missed direct debit because of bank transfer timings or the missus spending £500 without warning isn't going to stop you getting the gig - stop worrying. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't existComment

How many companies want someone really ill/doesn't want to be there providing services for them?"You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
