We don't want to be contractors - we ARE contractors.

Ah, well I'm interested in you.

Why do you want to know?

There has been a few threads like this recently, so my question is genuine.

Had enough of bad line managers. As a contractor I still encounter bad line managers but I don't have the same responsibility to them

              Two words. Appraisals, targets.

              Hope - to keep billing.

But I would rather have been a lumberjack.

                Appraisals! I remember those.

Funnily enough I still have these but they are called supplier reviews and deliverables now
