            Not that I am an expert in European law but I think prejudicing against EU citizens or companies is probably illegal.

            Problem is contractors in the UK (can't comment on abroad) basically don't have any legal protections.

                  The Equality Act plus Health and Safety legislation do apply to us. However like with employees good luck in trying to prove your case against a larger business.....

                    It's because you didn't learn English as a small kid. I have foreign family and friends' who did and they have no problem with slang, accents and broken English. Even worse some of them aren't just bilingual they are multilingual...
