Hi all,
I've been contracting for a year for some people I used to work as an FTE for a few years back.
They've asked if I'd be willing to provide some tuition abroad in a country that is considered "semi hostile".
I've worked in these environments before for them so I have no problems with that, and we would get an added payment of what essentially amounted to "danger" money of about £100 a day for working in those environments.
This however would be the first time I would be doing such work as a contractor.
Would you raise your day rate by a percentage or a flat rate for working abroad as it's a) a hostile environment and b) you're essentially working 24 hours a day as there's no real downtime on these jobs?
Sorry if it's a bonehead question, I had a quick search of the forum but couldn't find anything directly applicable.
