Just did a search for BA roles on jobserve. A tulip load of roles in London. I need to get involved

Yes. Although not that sunny. Barbecue tomorrow perhaps.

      Working on plan B.

Been sunny and hot all week up in sunny Manchester!

Today family brunch in spinning fields followed by hedge trimming in the sun. Quick trip to the skip and then back home for some cooking and relaxing in the sun. Best time to be on the bench at least!

Can you point to some articles about failings of nearshoring? It still seems to be all the rage where I work and most people working in IB in London still, are busy speccing how to nearshore all the projects (and make themselves redundant)

Is it me or is the Public Sector suddenly paying better rates and have more roles out?

Question is, would you touch a PS role at the moment....

PS roles are fine for now, April 2017 may bring changes.

Thing is - most of them are for 1 year plus, so they are looking to lock people into a contract beyond the hell that will be April 2017. I'd stay at my current private sector role rather than be there for that.

If I was certain to get a role in May 2017 I would probably take the contract and use the change as a reason to give notice and leave.

As it is my plan is to be out well before most contractors are aware of the ps changes.

You mean using Poland rather than India?

Personal experience, so client confidential unfortunately. They also don't get broadcast for political reasons. Generally I've had better experience with near-shoring than off-shoring, although there are some interesting quirks.

I wouldn't wait until then. At my site they have decided independent contract reviews from the likes of QDos are no longer acceptable as proof of compliance. We're still waiting to find out what they expect instead but it has definitely brought my PS exit plans forward.
