The agency have demanded mid-contract that I give them either my date of birth or national insurance number. This is sensitive data that I do not want to give unless I have to. They say it is for compliance with the Regulations 2015.
They are actually withholding payment until I sent it to them.
Have you had similar requests from the agencies you are working with? What should I do?
Thanks

The agency shouldnt be witholding payment until you provide this. Id be more than surprised if there's anything in the OP's contract that allows them to do this mid contract and especially after they've made several payments.
If you refuse to provide the info all the agency has to do is inform hmrc that you have refused to comply.I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!Comment
