Precisely IPSE's point. There isn't an answer yet, as has been said many, many times. It's too important to rush but it is being worked on as a high priority activity.

As regards the court case, IPSE will support anyone who wants to stand up and fight. So far nobody has volunteered...

And apologies to all for giving a straight answer to a straight question...
No one said BIS don't although we know that already. IPSE does not recognise that there is an Opt Out abuse problem. Yes, IPSE! Omly last week I raised it again and the CC response was 'what abuse?'

You keep claiming that you are looking for someone to take this the whole way through court. I complained last year about it, gave all the details and you, yes, you said 'If you were running a real business, you woudn't need the protection of employment regulations'. Of course, we are now 9 months on and my case would be pretty irrelevant with the passage of time. The conversation is there though, for anyone who wants to search for it.

Not once did you mention you would like to take a case to court and ask me for more details.

      Just putting the record straight!

Wrong on several levels, but I'm not going to argue the point.

          Stock answer.

Anyone who is a member though, can go make up their own mind as I said.

And another stock answer. I seriously DGAS you don't like the answer I gave, but it is the only one available and, sadly, happens to be the truth.

As I said, pointless arguing with people who don't want to listen.

And, just as an aside, take a look at this thread. One of us is still trying to get something to happen.

I know you DGAS, that is part of the problem.

Members who have access to the fora over there can make their own minds up on the truth. Stop protesting.

I thought you had flounced again, but as you are still here, what has the thread that you linked have to do with opting out?

This attitude by IPSE's biggest mouthpiece on CUK is a significant contributor to the perception that the organisation is best avoided.

It's true that the insurance product is good value, but they even claim that they aren't basically an insurance provider despite the widely known fact most "members" are just insurance buyers.

Wait to his "friends" appear.... As I stated earlier in this thread most IPSE members are there for the insurance. Without that they wouldn't be there...
