1 or 2 might go, but I can't see mass defections ..... at least not yet. My bet is they will see how the public polls stack up once Bojo is in charge before they do anything.

They will want to get re-elected. Which will mean they will stay Tory.

Not one of them has any notion of principal or public service.

        another one bites the dust

        Tory MP charged with assault

It might leave the government with a majority of 1.

I think we can see where this is all heading.

If Johnson has any sense, he will gamble on a GE. He's ****ed without one, and if he gets in early enough that his incompetence doesn't have time to shine through, the British electorate could easily be cretinous enough to return a working Tory majority.

Interestingly, he was dropped from the party in 2017 because of his activities, then he got reinstated so that he could vote for TM the PM in a confidence motion in 2018.

Good to see the ethics of political life are alive and well.

...now quick, the DM and their believers need to create a few stories to run about Jeremy Corbyn to distract from what's going on.

                  ...and then there were none

Boris Johnson facing huge crisis just hours before being crowned leader

six more Conservative MPs are said to be planning to defect to the Liberal Democrats if Mr Johnson becomes the party’s new leader - a move throwing the minority Government into chaos.

If the Tories do defect he probably can't be appointed PM without a confidence vote.

Some Labour dimwits might support him.
