    "manufactured components" ?

They are made somewhere by someone. We don't make them here because its cheaper to make them in other countries.

The actual raw materials are worth peanuts.

Lots of scrap cars are valued within the £100 to £300 range, so with that in mind it’s quite a big drop! For most people, it’s not worth the risk.

It's not quite as simple as that. I had a client co that used to call me out on occasions. ( A long drive up north). They manufactured gearbox parts for Ford, BMW Jaguar and others. The part had to machine serval times by different machines, some high spec parts had to be sent to Switzerland to have a special groove cut and then sent back to the UK to be finished. This type of work requires specialist machines and skills. It's not a matter that we can make anything here and it will be cheaper. Sometimes parts have to be shipped to several countries to machined and assembled.

Paddy you should forgive Churchy - he is an amateur assembler programmer wanna-be, his knowledge of real life is limited to a divorce or two, and that’s about it - in other words he is a highly R8ted loser

Says the moron who firstly can't drive, secondly never had sexual relations with anything with less than 4 legs, thirdly can't read instructions, fourthly deserted his country rather than fulfil his national service commitments, and lastly but by no means leastly spends half of his time on the internet slagging off the very country that gave him refuge from his desertion.

Without a “box” or some form of casing, the oil’s not going to have anything to contain it.
