It was Ken Clarke that said in 10 years you will be hard pressed to find anyone who will admit to have voted to leave the EU. Wise words, think Iraq war. Hands up who told the pollsters they were in favour.

    I'm alright Jack

No it is not the same question.

In 2016 it was remain as we are now, or leave but with no idea what leave really was.

A 2nd ref would be clarifying what leave really means. Rather than the narnia and unicorns of 2016, we would be giving the british public some reality on what leave will entail. Most leavers are too blinkered of course to read the detail and will vote leave anyway as before, but some may actually look at the truth of what leave means and change their mind (conversely some remainers may look at the deal and think, yeah, not too bad, let's give it a go).

No deal isn't an option, or at least, it is but then that would be the 'deal' agreed by parliament. If 'no deal' is what parliament agree then it should also show the plan of how that no deal is managed ... that is the transition period. So, same options ....

        1) Do you want the managed no deal (and this should include all the truths about the impact of that to the UK) or/

        2) remain
No deal does not require parliaments agreement it is the fate a compli on March 29th.

Just what do you people not understand about the process. Get your heads out of your a*ses ffs

          'fait'

You're right in that if nothing is done to revoke or delay A50 then we exit without a deal. That is very unlikely to happen though as it doesn't have the support of parliament, who have demonstrated already that they will overrule the executive.

It's as if they think they have some sort of control. Perhaps we should stay in the EU rather than give them more?

You keep believing that, but don't get too angry when you realise 'no deal' is not an option. No deal is a failure of this parliament to deliver brexit. There is a large majority in parliament that do not want to fail on such a critical objective. This is why they won't allow a no deal crash out of Europe. If it looks like that is going to happen you will get some Tory remainers jumping ship and joining Corbyn on a vote of no confidence to bring down May's government to halt Brexit and force a GE.

And how does the stop 29th March from happening. How do you propose to freeze time.
