Because most of them would instigate a break up of the UK. If the EU supports a break up of the UK then it should come out and say it, and equally support the break up of Spain and France.

The EU wouldn't care as the UK is (soon) not EU anymore. So the UK will be regarded on the same level as any other random non EU country from their perspective.
